louise mizen specialises in equestrian and animal portraiture
Louise completed her art foundation year at Brighton Polytechnic before graduating with a Fine Art Degree from Norwich School of Art.

Louise finds inspiration for her equine paintings through studying a horse's means of expression through movement.  She aims to emulate this expression in her paintings through her use of oil paint and charcoal, and the exaggerated gesture of her brushstrokes.

Having recently moved back to the Surrey Hampshire border with her family, having spent many years in London, Louise has continued to develop her style and has expanded her focus to include the study of movement in children, dancers, and landscapes.

Louise's work has been included in numerous mixed exhibitions, and she has had many successful solo shows.  Since exhibiting in Dubai last year, Louise's work is becoming sought after in Dubai's renowned equestrian world.
